Free Joomla Components
For my sports club I developed several Jooma components, modules and plugins. Maybe you can re-use these components as well!!! They are completely free to download and to use. If you want to help translating, have remarks, find bugs or have suggestions please post a message on our forum.
Since not all of my components are already available in English I will publish them one-by-one the coming weeks until all are translated.
Advanced user manager Component
This component extends the possibilities of a webmaster / administrator to manage their Joomla user accounts. This component offers:
- Create new password for any Joomla user (and send an e-mail with this password and account info to this user)
- Create, update, delete and check forward e-mail addresses in/with an DirectAdmin Webhosting account. This is easy option when you want to provide to all your users with an e-mail address of your domain. The users can fill in their private e-mail in using e.g. community builder; this component creates than a forward e-mail address in DirectAdmin automatically
- (Coming soon) Import users from .csv file; it imports unlimited number of fields and updates also Community Builder user information. It enables connecting Community Builder fields to fields in the .csv file.
This version is compatible with Joomla 2.5 and 1.7.
This component is initially developed for a website of a sports club.
SimpleEvent Component
(Not available yet for download)
Allows creating events from the front-end. Supports multiple categories. Events of multiple categories can be grouped in one list. Users/members can register and de-register for events. Multiple access levels to register, create, update, delete events can be set. Administrator can create new fields.
Also a module is available to show upcoming events.
A partly demo can be viewed at: http://www.delphinus.nl/. For example the 'agenda' is made with this component.
